Thrive Educational Advising Group provides a full range of educational advising services tailored to the needs of each student. Whether you are a student who is striving to find an educational environment that honors your learning style, want to enrich your current learning experience, or are looking for an experienced professional to help navigate the complex world of admissions, we are interested in getting to know you and your family and assisting you in achieving your goals and aspirations.

We understand that identifying the "best fit" school and going through the admissions process can be overwhelming for families and students new to the process. We partner with you to provide highly individualized consulting services. We take time to get to know each student and family and help you to identify schools where your child will thrive.
For independent school and college admissions, we will:
- Meet with students and families to help them identify and articulate their intellectual interests, strengths, talents, and goals for their education.
- Review and develop an understanding of a student's academic profile and extracurricular activities and provide educational planning assistance (i.e., course selection, extracurricular activities, summer programs).
- Provide guidance and advocacy throughout the admissions process.
- Develop a well-structured action plan and personalized timeline for the school search and admissions process.
- Research and compile a personalized & balanced list of schools that are well-suited for each student, based on our in-depth evaluation of academic records, standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, and interests.
- Brainstorm essay topics with students and enable them to find their unique voice to represent their values, perspective, and unique qualities.
- Prepare students for school and college interviews and make sure they are knowledgable about each school, feel confident, and can be themselves in the interview process.
- Assist students and families with a letter of recommendation strategy that will add a valuable dimension to the student's application.
- Guide families in navigating the standardized testing process, providing students with a testing plan that makes sense for them.
- Provide guidance for the financial aid and scholarship search process and review of awards if they are received.
- Cater to the unique needs of each student providing support for first generation students, students with learning differences, international students, and students who may have limited access to obtaining college admissions support.
- Provide services both in person and online to meet the needs of our students and families no matter their location, and stay in regular contact throughout the process.
